My name is Janiyah. Throughout my childhood years, one aspect never left my side, which was my interest in drawing, a passion that allowed me to channel my imagination and unleash my creativity. Initially, my artwork consisted of basic sketches, such as cartoon figures, animals, and other fun illustrations. But over time, my drawings progressed from simple sketches to more complex pieces, including portraits, abstract drawings, and landscapes. Throughout the progression of my artistic talent, the tools I use evolved from simple pencil and crayon art, to marker, pen, colored pencil and even charcoal drawings, teaching me various techniques in the process, such as shading, blending, and line drawing. Although drawing is considered a free time activity for many, it allows me to consentrate on one thing and not think about anything else that's happening around me when I settle down to create artwork. I feel as if I am drifting through space and time, allowing all my thoughts to leave my head and enter the world of my creation.
